Good Deeds and the Gospel... Friend or Foe?

I have been reading about this topic quite a bit lately as I think about directing the efforts of my church in our interactions with the community at large.  In my research I came across this conversation between Tim Keller, John Piper, and D. A. Carson.  I thought Piper's comments regarding "eternal suffering" and the Christian motivation for sharing the gospel, even as we show compassion, were excellent.  Hope you enjoy it!
